Kick -start your loaf pan dinner party with some Italian style cauliflower cheese sticks. With this simple recipe, you can have homemade bread sticks in just 45 minutes. Get started by preheating your oven to 350 degrees and gathering the following ingredients.
- ¼ of a large cauliflower head, “riced”
- 2 cloves of fresh garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese
- ½ teaspoons dried Italian herb seasoning
- Marinara dipping sauce
To rice your cauliflower, cut it into small florets and place them in a food processor,or you may rice it by hand using a cheese grater.Place the cauliflower in a bowl and cook in the microwave for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, combine the garlic with a teaspoon of olive oil and warm in a skillet over low heat. When the garlic has become soft and the cauliflower is cooked, combine the egg, Italian seasoning and just one fourth of the mozzarella cheese in a large bowl. Spread this mixture into your loaf pan and bake for 30 minutes. After the half hour has passed, flip the garlic loaf over, pour the remaining cheese on top,and bake for an additional 10 minutes. After your garlic loaf has cooled, divide it into individual sticks, pour your marinara sauce into individual dipping bowls and serve.
