There is a simple and delicious recipe on how to quickly roast a garlic. It's the perfect recipe for those garlic addicts. It can be ate alone, as a side dish, or used in a recipe. Either way, it's full of flavor and easy to make.

Roasted Garlic

Ingredients:

  • As many heads of garlic as you like.
  • olive oil

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 400F.garlicWEB2

2. Peel away outer layers of the garlic bulb, leaving the skins of the individual cloves intact. Using a knife, cut off about a 1/2 inch of the top of cloves, revealing the individual cloves of garlic.

3. In a baking pan, place the garlic heads. Drizzle some olive oil over each head until it's well coated. Cover garlic with aluminum foil. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until soft when pressed.

4. Remove garlic and let cool. Cut the skin a little bit around each clove and squeeze the roasted garlic cloves from the skins.

Now you are ready to eat your roasted garlic. It can be eaten as is, or used to prepare your meal. It makes for great tasting garlic bread, mashed potatoes, or pasta dishes.
