If you are attending a Halloween potluck for your company or at a friend's house this year then you obviously want to bring the creepiest dish along to impress everyone. But if you're having trouble coming up with something that will entice everyone's sense while offending their sensibility (uh... is that a hand?), then check out these great ideas.

Ham Head

Go to your local Halloween store and purchase a plastic head/skull, don't tell them what it's for. Or, hey, if you have one laying around that works too. Clean it thoroughly, stand it up on a platter, and cover it with prosciutto for the skin. Fill its eyes with some black olive slices, and voila! Ham Head has arrived and is ready to be eaten on some crackers.

Meatloaf Hands

Just like it sounds, make a meatloaf, but instead of shaping into the loaf like the name implies, instead form it into a hand (it's not as hard as it sounds). Because once your hand is formed and covered with cheese it'll looked like a hand melted in a fire (gross!). Now, place an onion center where the bone would be on a severed hand, and sliced onion slivers for fingernails and everyone will think twice about what they're looking at.

Rotten Deviled Eggs

Everyone's favorite smell is now available to eat. Simply make some deviled eggs, top with wasabi mayonnaise, and if you're feeling extravagant, add some black caviar for maggot-like garnish. Nothing says crowd-pleaser like eggs that look like they have gone bad.

Spider-Stuffed Mushrooms

Stuff the mushrooms with cheese, bread crumbs, etc,. Cut 8-10 notches around the outside of the mushroom. In the notches place a whole shrimp without the tails so that they are curling toward the center of the mushroom. Refrigerate for about an hour. Gently dredge them in egg and breadcrumbs and deep fry. When they are done, it'll look like dead spiders have accidentally been cooked with your mushroom. Yum.

Peanut Butter Eyeballs

For dessert? Why not some food that looks at you while you look at it. Take peanut butter, 1/2 stick of butter, 1 tsp. vanilla extract, and 1/4 cup confectioners sugar, and mix together in a bowl. Roll into balls and chill. Remove from fridge and cover with white icing. Find someone who is artistic and have them take some gel food coloring and paint some red, cracked lines and an eyeball in the center. And there you have it, yummy eyeballs that everyone will want to eat.
